This recent TV ad from IBM on cloud computing is fun and I could pick out the [Personal] Cloud from the [Business] Cloud applications. Can you?
The [Personal] Cloud + people = cldwrld (cloudworld) and that’s what this blog is about. The [Personal] Cloud is made up of cloud applications that an individual uses – e.g. gmail, Facebook, flickr, MySpace and so on.
Business or other Cloud applications that deal with non-personal data are not part of this blog. I think People are more interesting anyway. If you’ve forgotten the short and long definitions they are now accessible via the new, rewritten (again! I know, I know) welcome! section.
BTW, to my subscribers, I have added a URL to the blog. I’ve added “thecloudandme.com.” You can still get to it via the old URL but when recommending this blog to others (that’s a hint) you can use “thecloudandme.com” with confidence.
